AMA Photographers - Larry Lawrence

Posted February 2nd, 2010 by astroman

I try to Feature the most popular American AMA racing photographers from 70s-80s and 90s. Here is Larry Lawrence, His work covers mostly mid 80s to mid 90s AMA SBK, Dirt track and MX/SX.. Of course he still shoots Racing but what really matters is his early Racing slides from a period when Internet and digital photos wheren’t available so few special ones had the opportunity to cover this kind of racing and we have to be thankful that they share their work with us now.
So Here is his Blog and Commercial site with some of his work…

2010/48

Posted January 24th, 2010 by astroman

The Forty-Eight is based on the running gear of the Sportster 1200, but with 16” balloon tyres (both front and rear are 150-section!) and wider-mounted front forks to match.

The front mudguard is a shorty-style guard mounted on a fork brace, and the rear mudguard is cut-down too.

As standard the 48 is single-seat with a low height of 710mm, and the indicators also incorporate the rear brake lights like the Nightster.

The mirrors are mounted under the handlebars for a sleek look, and the engine, air filter cover, hand controls and indicator bodies are finished in black.

Paint options are black, orange or silver.
